WOOD ENGRAVINGS During my BA Painting course at the Central School of Art and Design London 1971 - 74, I learned relief printmaking with internationally regarded wood engraver Blair Hughes-Stanton. In 1981 I purchased his beautiful Columbian press from his widow.From 1993-2002 I founded and ran the Yellow Fox Press, to make limited edition hand made books of poetry illustrated with my wood engravings and woodcuts.Scroll down to see some of the books and prints I created, many of which are still available.
THE WHITE ETCHINGS You can also find, at the foot of this page, four blind printed (without ink) etchings made at the Royal College of Art in 1976. They were never editioned but a few artists proofs are available.
My beautiful Columbian press, purchased from Blair Hughes-Stanton's widow in 1981 and proudly installed in my new print workshop in Winscombe, North Somerset.
